Berry, KY October 02, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Pastor Shane Conaway has completed a new book, "Just a Closer Walk with Thee": A Pastoral Journey Through Uncertainty, Doubt, and Enduring Hope. Whether readers find themselves in seasons of abundance or scarcity, clarity or confusion, this work offers scriptural wisdom and pastoral insight to anchor the soul. The premise is elegantly simple yet profoundly transformative: through every twist and turn, every triumph and trial, God remains steadfastly present, never abandoning those who seek Him.
Conaway draws from his own experience as a pastor and spiritual guide at Mount Hope Church in Cynthiana, Kentucky, where he has ministered to congregations seeking deeper connection with their faith. His background—rooted in rural Pennsylvania where he grew up managing livestock and tending his family's Christmas tree farm—instilled in him a deep appreciation for stewardship, growth, and the rhythms of nature as reflections of divine purpose. This authentic foundation enriches his pastoral voice throughout the text. As a current student at Regent University, he continues refining his theological understanding while remaining committed to spreading the Gospel with genuine compassion.
Within these pages, readers will encounter stirring themes of perseverance, spiritual resilience, and the transformative power of unshakeable hope. Conaway addresses the stakes facing modern believers: how to maintain faith when doubt creeps in, how to trust when circumstances seem unbearable, and how to recognize God's hand guiding us through the darkness. What emerges is not a dismissal of struggle but rather an illuminating testament that hardship and hope can coexist: that walking closer with God means embracing both the questions and the answers, both the valleys and the mountaintops.
"This work is ultimately an invitation," said author Pastor Shane Conaway. "I wanted to create a resource that meets people where they truly are. God's promise to never leave or forsake us isn't conditional upon our perfect faith or our unwavering certainty. It's simply true. My prayer is that readers will find encouragement and renewed conviction that they're never alone on this journey."
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Pastor Shane Conaway's enriching work equips believers with the spiritual foundation needed to navigate life's uncertainties with renewed confidence. Readers will discover that faith deepens not in the absence of doubt, but through authentic wrestling with it.
Readers who wish to experience this transformative work can purchase "Just a Closer Walk with Thee" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
